Types of Instructors

School Teachers

An instructor who is a secondary school teacher by profession and most likely looking for a tool to aid in finishing the syllabus faster.

Yyeni restrictions:


  1. Must be a teacher at a recognized Secondary School.

  2. Must teach an entire subject on Yyeni.

  3. We will add class learners to his/her Digital Classroom for free during classroom set-up by utilizing the class list provided when teacher signs up.

  4. Can create an Independent Educator account to teach specific topics/themes .

Independent Instructors

An instructor who is NOT a teacher by profession but has both the technical skill and passion to teach. Trying to earn money using his/her skill.

Yyeni restrictions:


  1. A University Student or an Expert in certain topics/themes.

  2. Can only teach a theme or a set of topics

  3. Class must be listed on the shop to get learners into their Digital Classroom

  4. Cannot create a School Teacher account on Yyeni unless employed by a recognized Secondary School.

  3. After which, the system will prompt you to change your password for security purposes.

Classroom Prepartions

  1. Send us a class list(s) (Excel Format) of the class(es) you teach in that subject.
  2. We will create accounts for your learners and add them to your classroom(s) (within 5 hours or less).
  3. Your students must change their passwords and update their profiles.

Classroom Structure

  1. Step 1: Choose your course topic. Pick something you're knowledgeable in and genuinely excited about teaching. Visit Yyeni’s Topics to Teach page that break downs the syllabi of all subjects on Yyeni into sections that you can you teach for an entire semester.
  2. Step 2: Define your intended learners and your course’s learning objectives. Before you begin creating content for your course, it's important to determine which grades you are teaching and what your students will learn or be able to accomplish by the end of your course. Learn more about what questions to ask yourself about your learners and how to write clear learning objectives.
  3. Step 3: Decide how students will practice what you’re teaching. Yyeni students love being hands-on with their learning: they want to practice what they've learned through exercises, activities, case studies, and more. Via our quiz section, you can create various types of self-marking assessments.
  4. Step 4: Create your course outline. Your course outline is the foundation for your course--this is where you decide how you will structure and organize your course content. We have provided you with the syllabi of all subjects on the Topics to Teach page which breakdowns the learning objectives of its respective topic/theme.
